Meeting Minutes
20 November 2014

1. Attendance
Following BAC members were present: Mike Davidson (Chairman), Steve Andersen (Minute Taker), Cody Charron; Others Present: Selectman George Willard (Ex Officio). The following BAC members were absent: Brian Kullgren, Luke Peterson.

2. Reviewed previous meeting minutes. Unanimously passed as written.

3. Discussion of using expendable trust. Andersen stated that he spoke with Deb Harling on using expendable trust. The question was about using the asphalt paving trust to cover 2015 road paving expenses. It is allowed to bring in capital from the trust to offset expenses. The BAC discussed the expendable trust to be used as “safety nets” and not budget extensions, as was promised to the voters when they were adopted. The BAC also would like a real plan for asphalt road repairs. Decided to bring in the road agent for the next meeting.

4. Library Budget – met with Christine Robidoux, Library Trustee. She stated that the library requested their budget remain unchanged except for the following:
A) Repairs and maintenance increase to $1500 from $500 to repair the pillars and rails entering the library.
B) Dues increase to $600 from $500.
C) Landscaping increase to $300 from $150.
The library addition was also discussed. The trustees need a closet addition to house sensitive historical records. Trustees are working with Board of Selectmen for a potential warrant article. The BAC recommended a fireproof cabinet to be included with any discussions.
