Temple Exploring Green Burials – Presentation January 18, 2018 7PM -Temple Town Hall.

“Green burial or natural burial is a way of caring for the dead with minimal environmental impact that aids in the conservation of natural resources, reduction of carbon emissions, protection of worker health, and the restoration and/or preservation of habitat’ (Green Burial Council, Sept 14, 2013).  Green burials are an option being explored by the Cemetery Trustees in the Town of Temple.  Green burials have many different meanings.  You are invited to join us at the Temple Town Hall on Thursday, January 18 at 7 pm.  (January 25 is the storm date) to learn about all styles of green burials from Alisha DiMasi and Sandy Lefleur from Threshhold Care, who were instrumental in the recent establishment of green burials in Wilton.
